John joined Russell Law in 2018 as an Associate Attorney in the Estate Planning department. John is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey, and the United States District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania.
A lifelong Philadelphian, John obtained his B.A., magna cum laude, from Temple University in 2006. He was also a member of the National Political Honors Society, Pi Sigma Alpha. John then attended Widener University School of Law (now Delaware Law School) where he earned his J.D. in 2011.
John began his legal career in 2012 with Wolf & Brown, a Social Security disability and veterans disability firm in southern New Jersey. There, John practiced exclusively in the area of Social Security disability, helping disabled workers secure much deserved disability payments in the form of SSD and SSI.
In 2017, John joined the Augulis Law Firm in Warren, New Jersey, where he expanded his practice repertoire to include estate planning, trusts, powers of attorney, gifting strategies, and elder law issues.
Since joining Russell Law, John has further expanded his practice into areas such as estate litigation, civil litigation, asset protection, special needs planning, corporate law, guardianships, and advanced trusts.
John currently lives in Doylestown, PA with his wife and beagle puppy, Lincoln. Baby Sweeney will be here in June 2022!
